Yes, it does!
Yes it does
yes, this is a wide angle fish eye lense and it is intended to round the edges the further you zoom out.

QUESTION: DOES THIS LENS COME WITH A LENS CAP? IS THE CAP I HAVE FOR MY 18-55MM LENS COMPATIBLE?
It does come with a cap.
This does fit on my Nikon 18-55 lense
Yes the lens comes with a lens cap(s) front and rear, and a really nice leather looking pouch for the lens to be stored in. I was very pleased with the lens.
It does come with a cap and yes it fits 18-55 mm Cannon
yes. It comes with a cap and inside a small felt bag.
Both ends of the lens has caps. This lens will mount directly to the end of your 18-55mm lens.
It comes with lens cap

QUESTION: IS THE BUSINESS END OF THIS GLASS THREADED FOR A LENS HOOD/FILTER?
The short answer is NO and the long answer is No. There are no threads at all on the wide end of this lens.
Honestly I don't remember.

QUESTION: DOES THE LENS SIMPLY ATTACH TO THE STANDARD LENS THAT COMES WITH THE CANON EOS T31? IS THERE ANY OTHER ATTACHMENTS NEEDED
No other attachments are needed. The lens screws onto your existing lens, as long as it is the correct sizing for your existing lens.
It should, as long as the barrel is 58 mm
No additional attachments required. It screws onto the lens. You can use the bottom half for close-up macro shots, and attach the wide angle end to the macro lens
It should attach to any 58mm lens. Works fine on mine for my 60D.

QUESTION: DOES THIS KIT COME WITH CAPS FOR BOTH SIDES OF BOTH LENSES OR WILL I NEED TO ACQUIRE THOSE SEPARATELY?
Yes it does.
Yes. Great fish eye lens for the money.
There are caps for both sides. :-)

QUESTION: CAN I USE THIS AS A MACRO LENS?
Yes, it comes with both. The macro lens screws onto your existing lens. To use the wide angle you would crew that portion onto the macro. They both work wonderfully well. Best money I've spent on my camera so far.
Yes just unscrew the front half of this lens adapter and use the smaller of the two pieces attached to your standard lens. It works great, arguably the best function this lens adapter can produce. I've gotten a lot of great macro photos from it.
Yes, you can use this as a macro lens

QUESTION: DOES THIS WORK ON A 18-135MM LENS?
As long as it has a 52mm thread
You are referring to CANON EF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens, right? Then no, it does not work - as 18-135mm lens has 67mm threads.

QUESTION: CAN I USE THIS ON MY NIKON D7000 I HAVE A 18-140 LENS
Hey Martha, I'm not 100% sure, they have a list of DSLRs that it works with, it just screws on to the end of the stock lense. I assume it would, but contact altura to find out for sure, they were really helpful. Good luck!
actually it says in the description that it does work on the D7000,so the answer is yes.
You just need to make sure you have a 52 mm thread on the end of any of your Nikon Camera Lenses for it to work. Your lens caps usually have this written on them.
#Altura_Photo_Professional

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE OUTER THREAD SIZE FOR THIS THING SO I CAN BUY FILTERS FOR IT?
Should be 58mm
Check the Altura web site, they have the information there.
58mm back thread, 82mm front thread

QUESTION: IS THIS A FISH EYE LENS?
It's a wide angle lens. If you zoom all the way out it gives a fish eye look to the photo.
Its a pretty extreme wide angle, but it isn't a true fish eye lens. That would require a distortion effect and put most of your field of vision in a circle (180 degrees). At 55 mm (I use it with a telephoto lens), the field of vision becomes a sphere, and you can see some distortion in the middle of the lens. But that's about it. If you want a fish eye lens, this is not what you should buy
Yes.partially.

QUESTION: DOES THIS LENS FITS CANON'S 18-55MM LENS?
From what I read it will fit. I have a Nikon, but the lens size is the same.
Yes it screws right on

QUESTION: I OWN A CANON REBEL T3I IF I ATTACH IT TO MY18-55MM LENS WILL IT IMPROVE HOW CLOSE I CAN SHOOT FROM? BECAUSE IM TIRED OF FILMING FROM 15+ FEET AWAY.
I don't know that particular camera, but if the lense's filter thread is right, then the close-up part of the adapter should allow you to get really close. Even with the whole thing attached you get close. On my Lumix 14-40 it works from 3 inches. (7 cm in europe).
It's a new product to me. Gets a little fisheye when zoomed in. But yes. Helps a ton! I'm very happy with it.
#Altura_Photo_Professional

QUESTION: I HAVE A CANON REBEL T3, WILL THIS FIT ON THE KIT LENS 18-55MM?
Yes it works well with the t3.
Yes this will work great! On the kit lens 52mm

QUESTION: DO YOU KNOW IF IT WILL WORK WITH THE PANASONIC DMC FZ70?
Probably not without at least a 55 to 67mm step up ring, and even then the lens motor will not like the significant added weight and you would probably damage the camera if you attached this.
No, it will not. This particular wide angle lens only fits on 67mm lenses with threads on the end. I looked up the Panasonic DMC FZ70 and the lens is smooth on the end. Without the threads to screw the wide angle lens on there would be no way to attach it.
#52MM_0.43x_Altura_Photo_Professional

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT THE CANON MACRO 0.3M/0.98FT?
It should.
As long as the lens diameter is 58mm and it has threads on the frontof lens it should.
#52MM_0.43x

QUESTION: WORK WITH THE 50MM 1.4 CANON LENS?
I own a Nikon, so I don't know about Canon. This adapter works with 52mm and not 58mm. When you look up the specs of the lens 50mm 1.4, the lens is 58mm. So, it depends on what lens you have. Here is a link to the Canon lens specs for the lens that you asked about. http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/ef_lens_lineup/ef_50mm_f_1_4_usm#Specifications Abracos,
I own a Canon, and it will only work with a 52mm lens.
No !
yes it will
#Altura_Photo_Professional

QUESTION: DOES IT FIT TO THE CAMERA OR CONNECTS TO A LENS
Connects to lens
It treads to the lens. Make sure you select the correct diameter.
#52MM_0.43x_Review

QUESTION: IS THIS COMPATIBLE WITH THE NIKON N75 35MM FILM SLR CAMERA? IF SO, WHICH LENSES ARE? TYVM IN ADVANCE!
Sherry I can not answer with 100% certainty, but i do not believe this will work with you Nikon N&75 as my canon is a 58mm ring and it fits that, so I assume that the 35mm will be a bit to small. Again I am not 100 percent on this, but I hope it helps.
If the N75 has a lens with a 52mm lens front then yes it will. I have several Nikon dx lenses that I moved over to Digital from film

QUESTION: WILL THIS LENS FIT THE CANON VIXIA HFR50?

do not know

QUESTION: HELLO, I HAVE A REBEL T5 AND IT CAME WITH THE 18-55MM LENS AND I HAVE THE 55-250MM CANON STM LENS, WILL THIS WORK WITH THOSE TWO LENSES?
I don't see why not, I have the t3 and bought a 75-300mm and it worked just fine. I also bought a 1000mm lens that isn't canon brand and it also works fine...
I have the 18-55 and 75-250 lens. I used it with the 18-55 and the pictires came out wonderful. I've used it with the 75-250 but the pictures were blurred the further I zoomed.
#Altura_Photo_Professional

QUESTION: DOES THIS WORK ON THE CANON 70D
Yes,I have the same camera.
sorry I don't know I have a nikon
#52MM_0.43x_Review

QUESTION: I BOUGHT THIS BUT THE WIDE ANGLE ALONE DOES NOT FIT ON MY 67MM UNDERWATER HOUSING, ONLY WITH THE MACRO ATTACHED. IS THIS HOW IT WORKS?
Yes that's the way I use it. I found no other way without the macro attached
I think is the only way, you can use the macro alone or macro+wide, but not the wide alone
The macro can be used without the wide angle but not the other way around
I guess yes. It works same way on my D3200 camera. Became useless with the time.
