QUESTION: CAN I BAKE AND BROIL IN THESE CONTAINERS
The one i bought was pyrex brand, but this one states the following: Easy to clean and dishwasher safe Bakes food consistently Non-porous glass Won't absorb food flavors, odors, or stains Available in an array of functional shapes and sizes
I use 'em strictly for storage and heating in the microwave. I believe they are oven safe (w/o lid) up to 350 degrees. DO NOT Broil w/ them.
Yes, you can bake...but I'm not sure if you want to broil since it's just the top side getting brown. The plastic lids shouldn't be on in the oven though. It is Pyrex so baking is the perfect function. Another thing I like about these containers...they're rectangular...rectangular dishes and bowls economize on space in the refrigerator. It's tough finding room in my refrigerator. Circulars look nicer, but rectangles are more practical.
Yes
Yep. I put then r in the oven all the time.
Not sure I've never tried broiling in them before
I don't think you should ever broil in glass
Pyrex glass pans ARE NOT SAFE for broiling, according to America's Test Kitchens. You can, however, safely bake in them.

QUESTION: I DIDN'T SEE ANYWHERE THAT IT SADE MICROWAVE & DISHWASHER SAFE. ARE THEY?
I washed them all the times in the dishwasher, never had any problems. About the microwave, it's better not to put the lid in it; I did it and the lid ended up a little bit melted and distorded. The pan will be very hot so just be careful when you will took it out of the microwave but other than that they are doing good in the microwave.
Blue covers are dishwasher safe.
yes. out of caution, I hand wash lids, but always use dishwasher on glass. If used in micro for long period to cover very steamy food, lids curl at corners a bit, but doesn't seem to effect function.

QUESTION: ARE ALL THREE OF DISHES THE SAME SIZE?
No, they are, 1small, 1 medium, 1 large. The large is approximately 9"" x 6" x 2" deep. The Medium is approximately 7" x 5" x 1 3/4" deep and the small is approximately 5" x 4" x 1 1/4" deep. I hope this helps but they all fit inside each other for storage and have snap over cover that are mated to each dish. It is a realy nice set, I have two (2) of them. Hank & Ida Ciak
There are three different sizes; each with a cover. I really like them... they're like a deep dish... quality is excellent and the different sizes are great... they are also microwaveable.

I ordered the set and they were 3 different sizes. Mine had blue tops so this might not be the same set that I ordered. I am not sure if they have red tops. I hope this helps.
3 different sizes. it's a great set!
no, they are graduated sizes.

QUESTION: ARE THE PLASTIC LIDS BPA FREE?
Yes, they are BPA free AND made in the good old USA!!
From all the info I saw These lids are BPA free. Some say so on the lid others you have to search for the info.
The info I read while buying these is that they are BPA free. Also while I read some negatives about these breaking when going from hot to cold or vice versa, I have experienced none of these issues. They are easy to clean and seal perfectly.
Hi Kevin, I am not sure about the lid is BPA free or not. However, the product said it's microwave safe. I normally take out the lid when I put my in the microwave. That's why I like its glass material.

QUESTION: ARE THESE SAFE IN A GAS OVEN?
These are only safe up to 300 degrees and better to put them in oven during preheating, not after the oven is hot. Pyrex makes baking dishes with no restrictions, but these are really just good quality food storage containers. Hope this helped. :)
Yes. I pack my husband his lunch everyday in them and he uses a small oven and it's perfect, we don't use a microwave so this is prefect for the oven..
Yes
They are classified as Bakeware, they should be safe to use in any oven. Just be careful not to get them over 350. And, while they are dishwasher safe, do not put the lids in the dishwasher. I'm using them primarily as storage containers and for heating things up in the microwave.
Sure. Use appropriate precautions (same as any other oven): don't put directly into a hot oven, never take direct from frig/freezer to hot oven, etc. I really love this set - they are the most useful glassware I own!
I am told the glass part is safe but need to avoid major heat differences. Nothing like freezer to oven.

QUESTION: DO THESE ITEMS NEST FOR STORAGE?
Yes they do.
Yes. Easy to tuck away
They nest quite nicely ! !
Yes, they nest perfectly for storage. These take up minimal space nesting in my cabinet when not in use. I am slowly replacing my former round casserole-type dishes with these. On the single shelf where I used to store 2 round nesting casserole dishes, I now store 4 SETS of these! Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

QUESTION: ARE THESE MADE IN CHINA?
I don't think so, but anyway, it's Pyrex brand ! This product is quite simple and I don't think, because shipment cost, there is any benefit to make them in China
it states outside of us. so it might be. just can't state for sure.
Sorry, don't know but to discover the answer, I would look at the box that contained them, research the Pryrex website and/ or call Pyrex customer service. Lastly let me suggest that you look at the Amazon description of the product. In any event, it is a great and very useful set--
Please let me amend my previous reply- Went to wayfair.com, saw the same set and description stated it was made in the USA. Hope that's helpful to you--
On both thre glass containers and plastic lids it states "Made in USA" I bought 2 sets of different sizes and all say "Made in USA"
Pyrex - Made in the U.S.A. Hope that helps you.

QUESTION: I'M CONFUSED! THE PICTURE SHOWS 3 SEPARATE DISHES, THE DESCRIPTION SAYS QUANTITY 2.
I got 3 dishes. Never used in oven. But great in microwave.
They mean 2 SETS of the 3 dishes, so if you choose 2, you'll get 6 dishes (12 pieces, including lids)

QUESTION: ARE THESE FREEZER-SAFE? I'D LIKE TO BE ABLE TO MAKE A SECOND SERVING, FREEZE, THEN REHEAT LATER IN MICRO OR OVEN. ALL IN ONE DISH.
Yes you can freeze them BUT One of the most important ways to avoid damaging Pyrex containers when freezing them is to thaw and heat them properly. Glass cracks and shatters when its temperature changes too quickly. For this reason, users should never take a Pyrex container directly from the freezer and place it in a hot oven.
Yes, I have done that exactly. A important word of caution though-- take the frozen portion and permit it to thaw very well. It is necessary for it to be room temperature. The extreme temperature change of taking any extremely cold glass container and placing it directly into hot environment, such as a oven or microwave can definitely cause the glass to shatter.
Yes they are. :)
