QUESTION: WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO AN UMBRELLA STROLLER? WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SMALLER THAN OUR BABY JOGGER CITY ELITE.
Most definitely......I love our stroller, its lightweight, folds flat, easy to open/close with one hand.
No. We ended up getting a great umbrella stroller--the 'Babies R Us Deluxe Umbrella Stroller' and barely use the Micro. Its VERY heavy and cumbersome and we find its more of a waste of space and money. Save your moolah and get the deluxe umbrella. It has straps, support and reclines, and has a great canopy. Its also light weight and good quality--our daughter was able to use it without head support by the time she was about 4 months. Hope that helps!
Yes, we actually bought this stroller because we wanted a stroller that was like an umbrella, but would offer some comfort so our little one could nap. I love it, It's lightweight and portable.
Yes and much better :)
This is much heavier than an umbrella stroller. If you are looking for a light weight one that you can carry around easily, I don't recommend it. It is heavier than most light weight strollers, so I wouldn't categorize the Micro as "light weight." It does maneuver very well, and super easy to fold up.
No. Although this stroller is easy to open & close, it is a full size stroller & is not as light or compact as an umbrella stroller.
we used it for traveling quite a bit, it's extremely easy to fold (just one pull), very light and takes very little space in the trunk or between back and front seats if you need to take it somewhere. I would personally recommend it as alternative (that's exactly the reason why we got it, the umbrella strollers didn't look sturdy enough and didn't look as they as easy to operate). In my opinion it's much more easy to maneuver around comparing to a regular umbrella stroller as well. Hope that helps.
Yes, absolutely. It's a smooth ride and collapses really flat to fit in the car. I have a compact car and this fits fine with plenty of room for other stuff. Plus, we love the big sun shade to help protect the baby.
The City Mini is pretty much the sane as te City Elite except for the weight and the weeks size... I don't know what You aré looking for, but I have at home this stroller and a MacLaren stroller. I Think having an umbral la stroller is very convenient always even for naps.
Absolutely! It's basically a glorified umbrella stroller. Its wonderful. We used it to take our 15 month old around NYC.

QUESTION: DOES THIS VERSION COME WITH A BACK SUPPORT BOARD?
No it doesn't.
Not sure what you mean but it does have an adjustable back that goes completely up and flat back
No, It does not. Up until 9 months for my son, it was nice how it was more cradling for him.. Now that he likes to sit up more, i stuck 2 pieces of cardboard in the back, and it works perfectly! Dont let the fact that theres no back support stop you from buying this stroller. I know many people use a food court tray and it works great too!

QUESTION: IS THIS THE CURRENT MODEL? HOW FAR DOES THE SEAT RECLINE?
It reclines as far back as the City Mini does. I would have no problem putting a newborn in it at all. The only thing to think about as far as this vs. the City Mini is that there is no ventilation when you recline like on the City Mini. It gets hot in there. However, we're going to put a little clip on fan on it to help with that.
The seat reclines almost completely flat, perfect when they nap. It's easy to decline and put back up
I think this is the current model. There are different styles you and check them out at babyjogger.com. Its on sale at Albee baby(.com)? for $119. The seat reclines almost all the way back. With my 4 month old in it he looks as though he is almost flat. I would say at least a 150 degree angle.
I do not know if its the current model, but I have that stroller and love it. The seat reclines completely, the baby can lie down and sleep.
it looks like the current model and I reclines all the way back its awesome
Yes, this is the newest model. The seat reclines all the way down so baby is laying flat.
The one I got was the current model, yes. The seat reclines almost flat, and my baby has slept well in it.
not far / barely... same as with the other bigger models of this ... my kids have the larger size version and that doesn't recline much either. But we love it never the less... it works great on all terrain, we refer to it as the 4 wheel drive jeep... ha!
I don't know what the current model is. The seat reclines so that the child is totally laying down. I still love this stroller and use it all the time :)
This is the model that I have. I did buy it on clearance a few months ago. The recline goes down pretty far, not completely flat, but enough that my daughter can comfortably nap if she wants too. It is also EXTREMELY easy to fold up. I can do it even while holding my daughter at the same time. It is also very thin when folded up so I have plenty of room for other items in my trunk.

QUESTION: WHAT CAR SEAT ADAPTER CAN BE USED WITH THIS STROLLER?
It depends on the car seat brand. For my Chico car seat I use the Chico/peg pergo mounting bracket adaptor and it works perfectly.
The same ones the city mini can take. It uses the same car seat adapters as the city mini
As I remember it depends what brand/ model car seat you will attach to the stroller. We purchased baby jogger stroller online but the Adapter we bought from land store with very knowledgeable sales staff.

QUESTION: IS THIS STROLLER ONLY FOR TODDLERS, OR CAN IT BE USED FOR A NEWBORN? WHAT ARE THE CHILD WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS?
I don't think it has enough support for a newborn-- but probably ok for 6 mo+. Once they have more head control and can sit up on their own - I would think it would be ok. I love this stroller. Only fault I can find is the lack of cup holders - but you can add an accessory for that.
It only has a 3 point harness. I wouldn't believe it's stable enough for a newborn.
Def for Toodlers, no more than 30 pounds, the quality if not the best, i ended up returning it.
The harness straps are too high for an infant I started using this stroller with my son at 11 months old. You may be able to buy an attachment to support an infant carseat carrier until the child is big enough to sit up and support their own head.
Not for a newborn definitely but I think an adapter for certain carseats can b attached to it. Just a word of advice, a liner is needed bc the material is super hot during the summers. Overall this is an awesome stroller, I can open/close it w one hand while holding my baby w the other one :) super compact too!
It can be reclined nearly flat. I would use it with a newborn. The only issue for young babies with this stroller is the lowest strap height is high, so the plastic clips are up by their head, with their head laying on them at times. I bought some fabric and made little covers so that they are hitting soft fabric with their head, and not the hard plastic clips. We also have a stroller snuzzler / blanket, whatever you want to call it and that covers the plastic clips as well.
It has a 5 point harness and the seat fully reclines, so you could use it for a newborn. There is an attachment for an infant seat, but you may have to remove it to fold stroller down. The basket if very small and hard to reach, and with a newborn you need a large diaper bag. I preferred using an infant seat that pops into the stroller, like the lightweight Gracos with large baskets.

QUESTION: HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH (REAL WEIGHT, NOT DECLARED OR SUPPOSED)?
It's very light but so durable! I Could fold it up with one hand and pick it up with the same hand with ease. Around 10 lbs
I'm not sure but not real heavy and it's easy to carry with the strap that pulls up when you carry it. I wouldn't say it weighs more than 10 pounds. My baby is 4 years old, weighs 43 pounds and I still use it. It's a great time saver.

QUESTION: IS THE SEAT ADJUSTABLE TO SIT COMPLETELY UPRIGHT?
It sits pretty up right but because it is a soft back it is more like a hammock. My daughter gets frustrated by the lack of support.
The seat doesn't sit completely upright which although a little weird never seemed to bother our toddler. She's 18 months old now and does really well in this stroller. In my eyes it does the job well for the price and its easy fold up and undo feature is great for a mom like me who has back problems and can't heft a huge stroller around. Plus it takes up very little room in our car too.
Hi. We love this stroller as an lightweight for the car stroller. It does sit up but not on a 90° angle. I hope that was helpful
It is adjustable. We purchased a plastic piece for the back from the company that added support.
It does sit upright, although I've seen other posts saying it's not as upright as they'd like so I believe my answer is somewhat subjective.

QUESTION: HOW COMPACT IS THIS STROLLER. I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT FOLDS UP.
It folds up in half and lays really flat. It doesn't take up much room in my cars trunk at all. I love this stroller!
Think of an umbrella stroller and add about 1-2 inches in length, width, height, fold. It really is very compact and sooooo much better than a cheap umbrella stroller that only leaves you with blisters and an uncomfortable child.

QUESTION: IS THIS BIG ENOUGH FOR AN OLDER TODDLER? I HAVE A 3 AND 5 YEAR OLD THAT CAN OFTEN WALK, BUT OCCASIONALLY NEED A REST, OR TO BE CONTAINED IN STORES.
My 4 & half year old regularly sits in it if sleepy or tired of walking. It's very strong and deep and my very tall child has lots of room in it.
Yes, my three year old is always asking to ride in it instead of the baby. And my five year old would fit as well.
Yes my 3.5 year old, 40 lb toddler rides in it.
It is big enough. My 4 1/2 year old grandson rides in it when his younger brother wants to walk and he is very comfortable.
I would definitely say so, it's very roomy when my 3.5 yr old is in it and he's 90th percentile for height.
I would think a 3 year old for sure. For the 5 year old, I guess it would depend on how big they are compared to other 5 yr. olds. It doesn't feel like a small stroller.
Yes is good enough my son is 4 and he fits very well is big enough

QUESTION: WHAT TYPE OF SNACK TRAY WORKS WITH THIS STROLLER?
If I remember correctly it takes all the same attachments as the regular City Mini.
It's the same as the city mini. I bought one and never used it. It sits at a weird height
Not sure. I didn't use one. When you place the order it should show recommended items and the one that goes with the stroller should pop up.

QUESTION: HOW GOOD IS THIS STROLLER FOR ACTUALLY JOGGING? I DO ABOUT 3 MILES DAILY. WOULD I TRIP ON THE BACK BAR?
This would not be a good jogger. You would need something like the BOB Revolution, which is intended for jogging.
The wheel in the front can lock so that the stroller goes in a straight line and does not turn. I tried that feature but found that the road isn't straight, so it's smoother to unlock the front wheel. The bar connecting the two back wheels is low, you can easily kick it if you're not careful. Once I became used to the stroller, I stopped kicking it. If you push it with your arms extended, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm 5'6" and my husband is 5'9", neither of us have tripped over the stroller.
This is definitely not a jogging stroller. It's a lightweight travel stroller, decent stroller for day trips to theme parks, etc. The front wheel will shake like crazy if you try to run with it.

QUESTION: IS THIS THE NEWEST MODEL? IS IT AIRPLANE FRIENDLY?
Hello! Through the translator did not understand the second question) According to the first answer, the model is new, comfortable, I loved it!
It was the newest model-- with the larger visor. It looks very similar to the City Mini, only it

QUESTION: CAN A CAR SEAT SNAP INTO THIS STROLLER?
Yes but you need to purchase the car seat adapter separately.
The City Micro takes the attachments that the City Mini does, as far as I know, so I would think you can get a car seat attachment. I didn't bother. I bought a used Snap 'n Go for that incredibly short time that it was worth having something the car seat could snap into.
Yes, with the car seat adapter. Make sure you get the correct adapter for your car seat!
You need to buy a car seat adapter for your brand of infant seat. Call baby jogger for assistance as to which one.
You have to buy the car seat attachment, but yes! And I highly reckoned it vs. a travel system

QUESTION: CAN YOU ADD A SECOND SEAT TO THIS?
No its a single stroller.
As far as I know you can only add a car seat with the adapters of course.
No
No

QUESTION: CAN YOU JOG ON BUMPY TRAILS WITH THIS? I'M NOT TALKING TERRAIN BUT UNEVEN PAVEMENT ETC...?
This is not a jogging stroller, "Baby Jogger" is just the brand name.
Yes it's pretty awesome love my stroller
Uneven pavement yes. Trails no. I just took this on a flat trail hike and it was very difficult. I really love this stroller though. So lightweight and my son is so comfortable in it!
Yes I can with no problem
Its not sold as a 'jogging' stroller-- so im not sure what features are lacking. But I think it would be ok for pavement jogging but if you're a serious runner-- probably not the best option. its great otherwise though!
