QUESTION: DOES THIS HAVE A BAR BRAKE, OR DO YOU HAVE TO LOCK BOTH BACK BRAKES SEPARATELY? ALSO, I AM 5'2. WILL THE HANDLE BE TOO TALL FOR ME?
Separate brakes for each back wheel. Not sure about the height and if it will work for you.
No, there is no bar brake. I am also 5'2 and the handle is not too tall for me.
No it doesn't have a bar brake. I am 5'1 and its not too tall for me, but if you are going to run with it i would suggest a different jogging stroller but just walking and strolling it a great stroller.
Hello. I've actually purchased two of these. I returned the first one because the front wheel lock was not centered so it would not roll straight. The one I have now I cannot use without the wheel lock because it wiggles terribly. I only kept it because it was the third jogging stroller I had purchased and I got tired of trying to get a decent one. Instead I always use it with the front wheel locked so I have to actually lift the front end to turn it. The breaks are separate. Also, I am about 5'3" and I'm comfortable with the height. My daughter seems really comfortable in the stroller because of how the seat back reclines to allow her to lay down or sit up straight. Also, she really likes the tray. I would say it's a great stroller if you can get one that isn't defective!&lt ;/span>
Does not have a bar brake... I am 5'3", and the height works for me. Happy mothering and running!

QUESTION: IS THE STROLLER EASY TO COLLAPSE AND OPEN?
Yes, it's so easy! I didn't figure it out at first, but now I feel a little silly about it. You just put your fingers through the two lever things on the side of the handle bar and pull up. It pops open with no problem and is just as easy to fold up
It is pretty easy to collapse and open in my opinion. You have to make sure the seat is recline all the way otherwise, it won't collapse right .

QUESTION: HELLO, I JUST RECEIVED THIS STROLLER AND I'M DISAPPOINTED THAT THE BASKET UNDERNEATH IS MADE FROM SUCH FLIMSY MATERIAL. IS IT TOUGHER THAN IT LOOKS?
It has been very sturdy for us. Purses, coats, keys etc are thrown under there frequently. We have enjoyed this purchase and has been a great product and value.
Yes the mesh cargo compartment underneath the stroller is very durable. I've crammed many shopping bags, blankets, my purse etc. into in while shopping!!! Should do the job for you!!! Good Luck!!!
Unless they have changed it in the 4 years since I bought mine, it is definitely tougher than it looks. Mine has had heavy use for several years (miles and miles and miles of training and several half marathons) and the basket is still in perfect shape. I carry all kinds of things in it, including heavy stuff like extra water/gatorade bottles, and have never had a problem. From the picture they have made some changes to the design, though, so I can't tell if it's the exact same basket - I can tell you that mine looks fairly flimsy, but it has proved to actually be very sturdy.
I havent had any problems with it, but I never put a lot in it anyway.
No Prob!!!! I like other peoples feed back as well! It helps to hear from people who have actually bought and used a product and what their take on it is.

QUESTION: APPROXIMATELY HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THIS TAKE UP IN THE CAR TRUNK?
2.5 x 2.5
The front wheel comes off and the whole thing folds down easy. doesn't take up a ton of room like some of the joggers
We have ours in the back of a 2000 Nissan pathfinder and it takes up more than half of it.
It folds up into about a 2 ft X 2 ft. X 1 ft (deep) square. It fits okay in my Tahoe trunk, but a smaller car might be a little more tight.
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: DOES THE FRONT WHEEL WOBBLE LIKE MANY OTHER REVIEWS SAY ELSEWHERE?
It does wobble, but when you lock the front wheel in place for jogging, it does not wobble. We just keep it locked all the time for this reason.
Yes, if you go too fast. It's basically got two modes, jogger, or going fast, where you lock the front wheel but it's harder to turn. The other is if you are pushing it slow, where you can leave the front wheel unlocked and turn on a dime. It's annoying, but considering the cost of the jogger and value of what you get, I can definitely live with it.
I use it to walk up to a mile and have not encountered any wobbling.
Yes but if you lock the wheel it doesn't happen.
The front wheel wobbles if you run or jog, unless you lock the front wheel. When it's locked, you can go as fast as you want and the wheel stays straight.
No; mine does not wobble. Also, I have never had to put air in the tires either, as some of the reviews said. I really would purchase this again in a heart! Great product for a great price
It will wobble if you try running and it's not in the locked position. However, if you are walking and the tires are pumped up it does not wobble. I love this stroller, it's so smooth and easy to maneuver.

QUESTION: DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE SEAT RECLINES ALL THE WAY BACK, IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION?
No there's a nylon mesh preventing the seat from going flat. I would guess 15 degrees
Don't even order this they never even sent it, go to babies r us instead.....not impressed
It doesn't recline completely horizontal but it gets back to about 30 degrees. Its back far enough that our baby often falls asleep in the stroller

QUESTION: LOOKING FOR A STROLLER TO TAKE TO DISNEYLAND. DOES THIS FIT TALLER KIDS WELL? HOW TALL IS IT FROM SEAT TO TOP OF BACKREST?
I think you should be able to fit a taller child, assuming the child is less than 5-7 years. If you're taking the stroller with you everywhere, note that the size of the overall stroller is pretty large (which is not a bad deal), because of the large wheels, compared to regular strollers, but definitely not larger than most jogging strollers. The stroller does seem strong, robust.
I'd estimate the seat back height at 18-20" from the intersection of the seat back and seat bottom to the top of the seat back. Bear in mind the instructions discourage using with children over 42" tall and/or greater than 50lbs because it "will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable conditions (sic) to exist".
I don't know the exact measurements, but my 6 th month old is over 30" and there is still plenty of room for a few more years of rapid growth. Also, the top cover is moveable in both directions so that is very nice. I absolutely love this stroller!
Got this as a gift for my niece that just had a new baby so I couldn't tell you

QUESTION: MY CAR SEAT IS BABY TREND 'SNAP GEAR' SOMEBODY TRY WITTH CAR SEAT BEFORE?
My car seat did sit in it but it was obviously not made for it. The way it was built through there was no risk of him falling out at all so I did use it that way a couple of times.
I know that the baby trend car seat we have fits right in, but I don't know if your specific model fits. I'd double check the company website.
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS STROLLER WOULD FIT A GRACO SNUG RIDE CARSEAT IN IT?
I don't think it would fit well. The back support is adjustable to go from 180 degrees (flat) to about 80 degrees and any angle in between. However, if you put the back down to put the carseat in it, it would not be very secure. I have the "wheels" for the Graco car seat, and the Graco stroller that the car seat fits into AND this stroller. I didn't get this stroller until my second baby. It is definitely better than the entire huge Graco stroller once they outgrow the snap and go carseat. However, I got this stroller thinking I would jog on maternity leave and didn't realize the baby had to be 6+ months before you should go jogging with him or her! Great stroller for jogging with older baby and for strolls around the neighborhood. I no longer use the big Graco stroller at all. span>
I have this stroller (it's awesome) and my infant car seat was a Graco. I don't know if it was a snug ride but it fit just fine in it. The only thing is you cannot use the stroller canopy with the car seat in the stroller. I hope this helps you.
Unfortunately it did not fit my snug ride it was much too small!
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE BACK OF THE STROLLER MADE OUT OF, IS IT CARDBOARD WITH FABRIC OVER IT OR IS IT MORE STURDY THAN THAT?
It doesn't feel sturdy. Feels like cardboard, but it held my 4 year old at Disney World.
It is (in my opinion) pretty sturdy. I do believe it is cardboard but not the flimsy stuff some strollers have. It has held up very well against my two year old over the last several months.

QUESTION: WHERE CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT TIRE? MY GRANDBABY IS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD AND THE TIRE HAS FLATTENED TO THE POINT THAT IT ACTUALLY CAME OFF THE WHEEL!
Flat tire: The jogging stroller features bicycle tires to allow for extended wear and ease of pushing. Just like a bicycle tire, the jogging stroller can suffer from flat tires. If you have a flat tire, you can use a standard bicycle tire repair kit to repair the tire or you can take the tire to a bicycle shop for repair. If you experience numerous flat tires, you may want to purchase thorn proof inner tubes for the jogging stroller. These can be purchased at bicycle stores or at many national retail stores. The correct size to purchase is shown on the sidewall of the tire
I'm sure any bicycle repair shop could help you
I am not sure, this stroller on here through amazon is worthless! We ordered it and a few weeks later they sent us an email saying te merchant couldn't send it out! AFTER we already payed for it! I would not order anything from these people! This was the only bad experience I've had on amazon!
take it to any bicycles shop

QUESTION: WILL THIS STROLLER FIT IN THE BACK OF A HONDA PILOT WITHOUT HAVING TO FOLD THE BACK ROW OF SEATS DOWN?
It fits in Nissan Murano, Jeep Liberty as well as Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't know how large the Pilot is.
It folds and can stand up right in a Toyota Siena with all the seating in place and still has left over room for storage. Not familiar with inside of pilot sorry. Hope that helps.

QUESTION: DOES THIS FUNCTION WELL/EASILY IN ROUGH OR ROCKY TERRAIN? I WILL ONLY BE WALKING, NO RUNNING OR JOGGING. CHILD IS 2 AND ON THE TALLER SIDE.
Yes just make sure u lock front wheel I love mine use it everyday
It's really not very good on rough or rocky terrain, although locking the front wheel will help a little (but that makes it harder to turn), and it's better than most strollers - I have yet to try ANY that are good for rough or rocky terrain. It's a beast just to get it up/down curbs and wobbles a lot, so best to stick to smooth surfaces. As long as I stay on pavement/sidewalks, it's a dream and I can handle it with one hand. If I'm going off-road for walks and hikes, we use the Kelty backpack instead :)
I love this stroller. I do not use it in rough terrain however. I use it up and down super hilly streets with a thirty 35 pound three year old in it and it is a breeze to push both ways. So glad I purchased it. I have not found anything negative about it yet. I am going to get a rain cover for it next so we can use it even in the rain.
Yes! Perfect for trails etc.
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: OOPS, SENT THE WRONG QUESTION. DOES THE FRONT WHEEL UNLOCK?
Yes.
Yes - I use it unlocked 95% of the time even when jogging (although they don't recommend that). I only lock it if I am jogging on a road or trail that is not very smooth.
The front wheel is removable if that's what your asking, but does not come off while in use if you install it correctly. It's a very nice stroller.

QUESTION: I BOUGHT THIS ONE AND I HAD AN ISSUE WHERE THE TIRE KEPT GOING FLAT...DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE THAT ISSUE?
I have had mine for a couple months and haven't had that problem
No. I have not had any problems with this stroller.
My tires get low too but I just out air back in them. It's not every time though.
I haven't had any problems with it yet!
No issues here... probably need to change the tube.
I never had that problem with mine. The tires were a little flat when I first took it out of the box but after putting air in them they were fine.
We've had it since last fall and haven't had a problem.
Michee H., No! I purchased this for my Grand Daughter and her Mother loves it. She never had any problem with it "Best baby apparatus since slice bread". William W.
I had the same problem with our stroller. The tire on the left went flat about two weeks after we bought it. I pumped it up with an air compressor until my husband bought a tire patch kit. He repaired it and its been fine since. We have had it for about 4 months now. Hope this helped!

QUESTION: WILL A BABY TREND EZ FLEX-LOC CAR SEAT FIT THIS STROLLER?
From what I understand all of the baby trend car seats will fit this stroller. We havent tried it because we bought it after our daughter was out of an infant seat however the cup holders on the stroller look the same as they did on our older system that would accept an infant seat.
Yes...All baby trend car seats will fit.
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: IS THIS A LIGHT WEIGHT EASY TO CARRY STROLLER? AND CAN BABY SLEEP IN IT?
It's not too heavy but you have to unclip the rear wheels (easily done) to fold it. Yes the seat reclines to let a baby sleep in it. Our granddaughter sleeps in it on her daily walk.
It is light and easy to carry , yes you can sleep baby in it , my son takes his naps in the stroller because I have a two story house .
Yes, it is reclines very well, good for sleeping babies... Lots of space, runs easy, light weight and folds too easily...
You can recline it, so yes your baby can sleep in it although when I'm jogging, my little one is too interested in the scenery to fall asleep. It isn't the lightest stroller, but isn't the heaviest either. It has handles on both side which make it easy to lift/carry.
a car seat fits on top and baby can sleep in that as long as they are reclined and not sitting upright too much. lightweight yes
It isn't light, but the baby can sleep in it. I know ours has and he doesn't care to sleep at all.
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: HOW MUCH DOES THIS STROLLER WEIGH? I DO NOT SEE THAT IN THE DESCRIPTION.
It's around 8lbs. It's pretty lightweight. However, it doesn't fold up real small so its a tight fit in the back of my up lander. I have to push the rear seat forward to fit it so the door closes. :(
I have no idea! It is pretty heavy but a few seconds of carrying it is nothing compared to how nice it is.
#Baby_Trend

QUESTION: I AM 5' TALL, IS THIS GOING TO BE A COMFORTABLE HEIGHT FOR ME TO MANEUVER?
I'm 5'7" so I'm not too sure, but I don't feel like it's a tall stroller. I love it.
I'm 5'6 and have no issues. My friend who's a little shorter uses mine all the time with no issue and loves it so much I'm buying one for her shower. It maneuvers so easily!
I'm 5'2 and it works for me......you wont know til you try it....good luck;-)
I'm 5'8 and it's a perfect handle height for me, all the cheap umbrella strollers that we have used before were to short for me and my husband (he's also 5'8) so I'm afraid it could be too high for you... I recommend you to go to Toysrus store and check it out! Try it. I went there recently and saw almost identical stroller for $79.99! It could be an older version, same brand, and had red accents to it but I didn't see any major differences...
I am 5'2 and it's very comfortable for me. It feels so light weight (and easy) when pushing it that I would think it would work for you, too!
#Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: IS THE JOGGER COMPATIBLE WITH BRITAX INFANT CAR SEATS? I HAVE THE BRITAX B SAFE 35
I don't know, there was no mention of compatibility with ANY car seats in the info I saw. We bought it to use as a heavy duty stand-alone stroller only. It was a gift for our daughter.
Honestly no idea but the stroller is great, very light, fast and comfortable not mentioning the great price!
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: THE IMAGES SHOW A GAP BETWEEN THE BACK REST AND THE CANOPY UNLIKE ANY OTHER JOGGER. CAN THIS BE COVERED? DOES THIS CAUSE AN ISSUE DURING WINTERS?
I just looked at mine and the canopy is flush with the handle so that the canopy is off-set behind the seat back that would effectively catch any precipitation. The wind could be an issue, not sure a blanket would work to hang from canopy. My first experience with this stroller was in Honolulu and I haven't had mine long enough to use mine in an Ohio winter! Sorry, hope this helps.
The gap is a little weird at first. It's nice for readjusting the canopy all the way forward while the sun is low, but if you want the top or back covered more you have to try to drape a blanket over it. I think the gap was there so that the seat would adjust more freely. I don't mind it because I live in California right now. The gap is covered when the canopy is all the way back, but I could see this small canopy being an issue if you want to run in harsher weather.
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: HOW HEAVY IS THIS STROLLER?
Heavy
I would say around 20lbs maybe. The front wheel is what give it a lot of weight
Maybe 10 pounds, maybe a little less. It's not very heavy
It weighs almost 22lbs but has handles to lift it when folded. I bought it for my daughter and she said it's easy to fold and store. She loves it
I would say at least 20-25 lbs .

QUESTION: I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN ALASKA. WILL THIS WORK ON GRAVEL FOR SUMMER AND ICE FOR WINTER? WE DON'T HAVE SIDEWALKS HERE.
It will definitely work on gravel, it's a pretty smooth ride. I honestly have no idea about the ice though. I don't know if it'll have traction or anything. I'm sorry, we don't have that in Las Vegas :)
For sure it will work on gravel! But I'm not sure if it will work on ice, for I won't ever have the opportunity to try it (as I live in a South American country). Something I have to mention is that the jogger is really light and I think that helps carrying the baby anywhere you go, as the wheels don't receive too much weight. The tires, though, usually have to be bumped on, specially on gravel.
I live in Ohio and have used this stroller during the winters with no problems. The nice thing about the bigger bike-like tires is that they give you a better ride. I think as long as you can get traction, your stroller will get it as well.
#Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: IS THIS STROLLER GOOD FOR A 6 MONTH OLD
Oh yeh...for sure.....We're still using it on our 18 mo. old....Take him for a walk in it when he's fussy and he falls asleep in it....It's a life saver.
In my opinion yes, it has adjustable seatbelts for babys or toddlers, the only thing my wife says is that its a bit heavy when shes taking it out and in of the trunk
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: WHAT'S UP WITH THE BAD REVIEWS ELSEWHERE? LOTS ON TARGET COMPLAINING ABOUT THE FRONT WHEEL WOBBLING & THE STROLLER BEING HARD TO FOLD. ANY THOUGHTS?
The stroller is SUPER easy to fold. The well can be locked into place or free turning. I have not had any issues with wobbling. Not sure what they are referencing there. We have taken it to places where you walk around for hours and have had no issues. It is very easy to push also.
I've never had an issue with my front wheel "wobbling" or being hard to fold. I will say that it's not a "one handed" fold, but I've never been bothered by having to use both my hands. The only "wobbling" I can imagine people may be complaining about is the fact that you can choose to either have the front wheel locked in place (which you would do if you were using it as a jogging stroller) or unlocked so that it swivels like a regular stroller front wheels. Maybe they didn't read the directions?
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: DOES THIS STROLLER HAVE BRAKES - SPECIFICALLY A PARKING BRAKE?
There's brakes on the back wheels
Yes. There is a brake you can use on the back wheels. There's no brake you can apply while you're running but if you're concerned about it getting away there is a wrist strap you use while you're jogging so the stroller doesn't get away.
No
Yes

QUESTION: DO YOU THINK THIS WOULD FIT IN THE SMALL TRUNK OF MY SATURN SC2?
Probably...I'm not sure how small that is but this stroller while large isn't obcenely do and folds down to a manageable size...but I hated this stroller and wouldn't recommend to begin with
Depends on how small that is. I wouldn't recommend this stroller though ... it's not super easy to maneuver and the tires are terrible.
U might have to take when wheels off but fast & easy to do.
We have a Chevy Cobolt and it fits in there. Your trunk opening is a bit larger so it should fit.
I'm sure it would my mom has a ford fusion with a smaller trunk and she has transported it for me. I honestly don't have to worry about it b/c I have an SUV and have obviously no problem hauling it around, but I do know that it fits into my mom's trunk if that helps you decide. I'm not for sure if your trunks are close in size?
I dont know i dont drive nor own a car sorry
#Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: DOES IT HAVE SUSPENSION?
No, it does not have suspension but we have been pleased with this product.
no
It seems too have some. I love it. For the money it is a great stroller. I have taken it down lots of dirt roads and across ths field and it did fine.
No, it does not have suspension but we have been very pleased with this product.
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: THE SIDE WALKS HERE ARE REALLY UNEVEN. HOW DOES THE STROLLER DO OVER BUMPS?
It has air filled tires. It does as good as any stroller can. I wouldn't try to use it on a plowed field, but if you can walk on your sidewalks without falling with your eyes closed, it should handle it OK. Baby will get bounced/ jounced a little, but that is part of the fun/adventure of being strolled as a child.
It maneuvers very well. I jog in the street and sidewalk with it. Love it!!
It does well on uneven pavement, that's not a problem. However, it'll still be a bumpy ride for the little one. If it's really bumpy, a stroller with shocks would be better. However, the price tag & size will also match the comfort.
This stroller does amazingly well on uneven terrain. The large tires really smooth out bumps. We take it out on a disc golf course with large tree roots and steep wooded terrain to traverse and it handles it like a champ.
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: WHAT AGE CAN A BABY START SITTING IN THE STROLLER (NOT THE CAR SEAT)? WE ARE ONLY USING THE STROLLER FOR WALKING
I'm not sure I understand your question, but we were using this jogging stroller for jogging when our baby was around 15 months old, however I'm sure ages vary based on the child and comfort level of the parents.
6 months

QUESTION: WILL THIS BE A COMFORTABLE SEAT FOR A NEWBORN WITHOUT A CAR SEAT? (I AM AWARE I SHOULD NOT JOG WITH A BABY UNTIL ABOUT 7-8 MONTHS OF AGE).
Hi, until the little one can hold their head up I wouldn't put them in this stroller without a car seat. There are straps, but I feel they are more for older kids who are able to sit up. Their little heads have no side support. Hope this helps!
ours at 7 months loves the jog.
No, there aren't any head supports or extra padding in the stroller that a newborn would need to be comfortable. It is an awesome stroller (definitely one of the best long-term investments we've made!) but my son really needed to use the baby carrier with it for the first six months, even for just walking around.
I wouldn't chance it. I would go with a car seat or wait until the baby can hold his or head up because it is intended for a slightly bigger child (meaning bigger than a newborn).
#Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: DOES THE FRONT TIRE NEED TO BE REMOVED TO FOLD UP?
No but it is a large stroller when folded
no tires need to be removed. it is a good item.
No. You can fold it with the tire on. The front tire is both a fixed and swiveled tire with one flip of a switch.
no, it does not. Folds up nicely and fits in my very small trunk :D
#Baby_Trend_Review

QUESTION: HOW DOES THIS DO ON GRAVEL? I HAVE A 1/4 MILE DRIVEWAY THAT IS GRAVEL I WOULD LIKE TO WALK ON.
I took this stroller over about 1/4 mile of gravel and some of the gravel somehow made its way underneath the tire and poked tiny holes on the tube. The holes were so tiny that it took a couple days to deflate, and I couldn't manage to patch it up. SO, I had to purchase new tubes (cheap! got them at Sports Authority), easy to replace, and they were good as new. You can say, I haven't been on gravel since.
Depends on how big the rocks are. I walk an old railroad bed and down my driveway that is rock and it's fine. If there are bigger rocks and it's choppy it could mean a bumpy ride for your little one.
Pretty good if the tires are fully inflated.
It should be the best stroller you can get for gravel. It is still quiet bumpy in my opinion, but it is much easier to push with non running stroller .
#Baby_Trend_Expedition_Jogger_Stroller

QUESTION: WILL IT FIT IN THE BACK OF A SMALL CARE LIKE A HYUNDAI ACCENT?
I think it would if you folded it down but it might be a tight fit.
Yes
I highly doubt it will fit. It just fits into my focus sedan. It folds up pretty easily, but is still quite bulky when folded.
It will fit in the trunk. We have a small car very simaliar.
