Yes, it has a 'Lifetime Limited Warranty' as stated in the 'Use & Care Instructions' that come with the product. This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse (including overheating, improper cleaning practices and non-recommended oven use) or commercial use. I didn't receive any warranty on this...it's just a regular buy. This product I'm using almost everyday and it works so good...I even made pancakes on it and it didn't stick at all. It's a great pan! :) Hope this helps.
It din't come with any warranty papers. Nor the description of the product mentions anything about it so I would say "No"

QUESTION: IS IT MADE OF IRON OR ALUMINUM?
Aluminum *Aluminum construction for fast and even heat distribution
It is made of nonstick coated aluminum, I believe.
It does not really specify what the pan is made from other than non-stick coating. Also, if you have birds, DO NOT USE THIS PAN WHEN THEY ARE PRESENT. IT WILL KILL THEM. I have a parrot and am aware of the danger.

QUESTION: WHERE IS IT MADE? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE !
I don't know where this was made but I would say this. I am a very happy well satisfied customer of Amazon but this pirchase
Not positive but I think it was made in China----but I want to say this. I have been a very happy and well satisfied customer of Amazon for about 2 years now---probably have purchased between 250 and 300 items. However, the T-fal pan was my worst purchase. Let me explain. I tried really hard to research this before I purchased this. The web site showed 2 frying pans but one said 12 inches and the other said 5 quarts---no way to compare sizes. I purchased the 5 quart size and have to say to you that in my opinion this is the worst hunk of junk that I have purchased from anyone in quite some time. This pan is very cheaply made, lightweight and it rocks when used on the stove with heat from the burners. to be honest with you, I pitched it after only one use. I didn't make any effort to return it to Amazon because it wa s cheap and I didn't want to hassle Amazon because they have been so good to me.
I believe that it was made in China however after several years and many happy purchases this was my worst purchase/decision. Luckily it didn't cost much. It is the worst cheapest hunk of junk that I have purchased from anyone in quite some time. It is cheaply made, lightweight and rocks on the stove under heating from the stove burners. I only used it once and then pitched it out.
I think it's made in China. Best pan I've ever owned!

QUESTION: IS THIS PFOA FREE AS ADVERTISED ON AMAZON? T-FAL SITE MAKES NO MENTION OF THIS FEATURE.
Yes. Most Teflon coated cook wear items are safe to use. I read in previous statements that one buyer wrote to the company with the same question and they responded with yes, it is pfoa free.
pfoa? who cares, its a nice skillet and works the way you want. you cant live forever

QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES IT LAST UNDER FREQUENT USE?
My wife has been using it now to cook basically all our meals... aka chicken, beef, vegetables, oils, lots of spicy food, and basically anything that one can think of for over 6 months now and it shows no signs of wear. We bought a similar one for a similar price and it lasted for three years so hopefully this one will last us and our growing family three years also. Hope that helps! PS I have recommended this pan to both friends and family.
I would think from looking at the quality of this pan it should last a long time with proper care and use. We just love it because of the depth, the glass cover and the ease of cleaning. We followed the instructions in the beginning and everything is fine. This is one of our best purchases in a long time.
I dont use it very frequent, maybe once a week for grilled cheese sandwiches or french toast for 2. But i really like it!
If you don't use metal utensils in it or abrasive cleansers to clean it, it will last for years even with frequent use. This is my second pan like this and this has been my experience. Clean this pan with soap and a soft sponge, It will clean up nicely.
I bought it in April 9. I use it at least once a week. So far, it has held up wonderfully! Still like new!
This pan is replacing our old one that we bought in 1997 and used very frequently. I love this new one even more.

QUESTION: CAN IT GO IN A DISHWASHER?
Yes
It is advertised as dishwasher safe. I always hand wash my pans- just out of habit. Some reviewers have said to not use on glass cooktops. I have a gas stove & have also used T-Fal cookware on electric stove & never had a problem on either type. It's the only brand I buy.
Sorry I've never tried it, but I'm thinking you can.

QUESTION: CAN THIS PAN BE USED ON AN INDUCTION COOKTOP?
NO!!! I went by the advice given here and bought it.. it does NOT work on an induction cooktop and a magnet does NOT stick to it! Not sure why others said it does.
A ceramic cooktop is NOT the same as an induction cooktop.
no. i also ordered it based on the advice here. there is nothing in the product description to clear it up. i'm packing it to send back.
The packaging actually states it will Not work with an induction cooktop.
NO! this pan shows up if you search "induction pan with lid" and so I purchased it. Does *not* work.
It is a well built - high quality pan (for the price) but it is NOT usable with induction cooktops.
Only the Professional series works on induction.
Not sure about induction. But magnets don't stick to aluminum. Just saying.
T-fal INDUCTION COMPATIBLE COOKWARE Some T-fal cookware is induction compatible. If you are unsure about the induction compatibility of your T-fal cookware, please refer to cookware outer packaging to determine. Some T-fal sets with stainless steel bases may include smaller capacity pots and pans that may not properly heat on all induction cooktops. Please refer to the Use & Care document supplied by the induction cooktop manufacturer for more information
yes!

QUESTION: HOW DEEP IS T-FAL A9108294 SPECIALTY NONSTICK 5-QUART JUMBO COOKER WITH GLASS LID FRY PAN?
its 3 inches.. i love it..
3 inches, it seems larger/deeper....you'll love it!
My ruler measures 3" deep for my 5 quart fry pan with lid. I love it!
It's almost 3-inches deep.
look on t-fal website or amazon for descriptive figures
3" deep

QUESTION: HOW LONG DOES THE NON STICK SURFACE LAST? OTHER PANS I'VE BOUGHT HAVE CHIPPED AWAY EVEN THOUGH I USE SAFE UTENSILS
I have had mine for 2 months now and it's still "brand new", although I use it almost every day. It's much better than ones I had in the past... you never realize how far gone your non-stick pans are until you get a new one.
I have had this pan for awhile now with no issues...I swear by t-fal only kind I own
I use them almost everyday and have for about 6 months and the non stick surface is still in great shape. I only use plastic or wood in them though, and I hand wash all of them.
We've had ours since August 26, 2015. Its still doing pretty well, especially when we use a bit of oil in the pan. There is some loss of the finish by way of scratch marks, but I attribute that to my husband using our metal potato masher on it (despite instructions not to). I think if he hadn't used metal on it it would be fine. When this pan's life is over I'm still buying another one.
The T-fal is not made for max. heat, if you cook med. to med. high & do not use metal tools it should last for many years
#T-fal_A91082_Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: DOES IT HAVE GOOD INTERNAL COATING SO THAT I CAN USE A STEEL TURNER AND COATING DOESN'T PEEL OFF?
No. I used silicone and nylon utensils and the coating still scraped off, so a steel turner would easily scratch off the coating.
Average I guess. I would never use metal utensils in any non stick pan cause that's just asking for trouble.
#T-fal_A91082

QUESTION: IS THIS PAN MADE OF ALUMINUM, STAINLESS STEEL, OR SOMETHING ELSE?
I believe it is aluminum
I believe it is Aluminum Alloy it is heavy (Thick) but lighter than my Cast Iron Skillets! like the curved sides makes it easy to stir, I love the glass lid with a steam hole! also love the second stub handle across from the handle!
It is aluminum. It's got a nice heft to it without making it too heavy to handle once food is in it. It cleans up well inside & out and has a flat bottom so oil doesn't skitter to the outsides.
It is hard anodized aluminum. It's great inexpensive pan I use quite a lot and it's stood up very well.
The pan seems light enough to be aluminum. But there is no metal exposed in the pan. The TFal covers the entire interior. The pan heats evenly and cooks very well for all types of technique including frying braising and sauteing.
I'm not sure, but I think stainless steel, it has some weight to it. It's a really great pan, I use mine every time I cook
You know I'm not for sure, it's pretty heavy so I'm guessing stailess steel.
#Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: HOW DEEP IS THE SKILLET?
About 1/4 of the debth of a traditional wok. It's nice and frys and sautées very nicely without sticking.
A couple of inches I would say - it is nice and deep
This 5 quart skillet is 2 1/2" deep.
2-1/2 to 3 inches
4 inches. Great skillet!
3"
Approx 1 3/4-2 inches

QUESTION: IS THIS PAN INDUCTION FRIENDLY
No it's not. I have an induction stove in my basement. The set of pans is entirely different. The bottom of this pan has groves in it. Also, I believe induction pans must be magnetic (Steel), this is aluminum based.
OK I looked up induction stoves B/C I had no ideal what they were either (just like Mountain Cat Mom) It's the flat top stove. My sister has on. Not sure if it would do ok or not. You can get a small pan at Wal-Mart and try it before you get the set. All I know is it's a great set of pans that chean up great and the non stick is fantasict for frying and thing.I hate do dishes when thay are greasy and with these you can wipe them up with a paper towel and wash realy simple. Like I said get a small skillet and try it.the small is great for eggs.
I don't know as I don't have an induction type stove. It works well on my porcelain top electric stove.
Looks like the guy below answered your question. I personally don't know what an induction friendly pan is, but this is great non-stick & cleans up really well.
#T-fal_A91082_Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: IS IT SAFE FOR A GLASS STOVE TOP
Yes, I use all of the pans on my glass cooktop
Yes, it is perfectly safe on a glass stove top because that electric stove is what I use the pan on.
i used it on condution stove...I don't know if it's safe for glass stove top.
Yes. I just bought it. Flat bottom. Glass top safe. Nice pan.
#T-fal_A91082

QUESTION: CAN I USE THIS PAN ON GLASSTOP STOVES?
Yes. I've had it for years and works great on glass top and does not scratch it either!!
yeah, I think so.
Yes, my oven is glass top, works great!
Yes you can! That's what I have, and why I get this. Works great!
As I do not have a glass stove top I can't speak 1st hand. However I can say that the exterior of this pan is not painted so it won't leave any residue. It DOES have a flat bottom which I've heard is best for an even heat distribution on glass stove tops. Hwvr it does have a step-cut bottom which I heard is not so great, running the risk of scratching the glass if you're inclined to sliding the pan across the stove top. Again, this might not be an issue because it's pretty light weight and it's easy to lift rather than slide, especially with the handles on either side. (I also consider it a very shallow or minimal step-cut anyway.) I would say it's fine for your glasstop stove as long as you follow the general guidelines/recommendations that go with using any glass coo ktops.

QUESTION: WHERE IS THIS PAN MADE? CHINA OR FRANCE?
it's made in Fr.ance
It's made in China, printed on the box.
Earlier pans were made in France, and the recent pans are made in China.
I looked over the pan, but couldn't find any indications of where it was made. I threw out the box when I received it, so I cannot check there.
#T-fal_A91082_Review

QUESTION: HOW DO YOU RATE IT'S ABILITY TO BROWN ONIONS, MUSHROOMS, AND SEAR MEATS?
It is great for everything. I just love it. I think you will too.
I think for me it does a great job on searing meat etc.
Yes I would say it Does very good you like skillet very much. We Brown onions often in it. Its nice a big. Advice is to go ahead and buy it. You will be pleased.
done it! and Stir fry,, use of med high heat,, (gas Range).. No hot spots use figure 8 motion while stirring ..
It is the BEST, I've browned onions and mushrooms in it. I love frying meat in it. I highly recommend it !!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry about delay. I haven't used pan yet, but I can see it would be difficult to cause an even result, esp. w. a gas-range since diameter of pan is so much bigger than diameter of circle of flame even on 'HIGH'--- would have to move food from edge of pan to middle. Flat-surface electric range would work much more evenly. did that help? [I don't like gas-range]

QUESTION: IS THIS PAN OVEN SAFE?
It is, up to 350 degrees.
No, it has a plastic handle. Cast iron pans are pretty good for ovens. Or try an all metal pan.
No. With the plastic handles & Teflon coating i wouldn't try it except to keep something warm like at 200 degrees max.
Untill now it is ok, but really uncomfortable to use.
#T-fal_A91082

QUESTION: IS THIS OVEN SAFE AS WELL?
While I have not had an opportunity to use it in the oven, my Grandmother has the same pot and she has used it in her gas oven with no problem. The pamphlet that comes with the pan says it is oven save up to a certain temperature.
It is safe to 350* in the oven.
There is a limit to the temperature....350 is the limit.
The handles are a type that I would not use in the oven. The literature says it is safe up to 350* in the oven.
If you mean, "Can this item be used in an oven", I would not recommend it because it has plastic handles. It's meant to be used for stovetop use only; it's more like an oversized frying pan than anything else.
Hello, YEs it is oven safe for temperatures up to 350 or 375 degrees. I am not sure which. I have used mine at 350 dozens of times without issue. Hopefully this helps!
I wouldn't use it in the oven. It's possible the plastic on handles can tolerate lower temperatures.
#Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: IS THIS A TEFLON COATED SKILLET?
Yes it is coated inside.
Yes
Yes, and it's very nice. I recommend it.
Unknown. But food does not stick to the pan at all.
It is, I really like it. I have had mine for several years now and as long as you use the proper utensils(no metal) with it it will last a long time
#T-fal_A91082_Review

QUESTION: DOES THE FOOD BROWN WHEN SAUTÉING?
Not as much as I'd like it to! :) But I LOVE this pan.
Higher heat does cause browning
Yes it does. I'm happy how it cooks, just disappointed that after a week it is already has scratches. I don't use metal utensils or wash in the dishwasher
In my experience, yes. Really like this pan
If you use the proper temperature and oil or Pam Product and keep the lid off it will - at least as far as onions or other veggies are concerned. I use Avocado oil or Sesame Oil sparingly and it does a good job.
Yes, the food will brown. Please note that it seems to cook a bit on the hot side but I am not sure if it's the pan or my stove - probably the stove...
Yes, when sauteing put on lower temperature, not medium. If you cook on higher temperatures it will ruin the pan..
It tells you not to cook on high heat or it will ruin your pan. Cooks evenly on MEDIUM HEAT!!
#T-fal_A91082_Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: IS THIS PAN OVEN SAFE
The pan is painted on the outside and has a poly-resin type handle opposite the pan handle, so I would NOT recommend it be used in the oven.
No!
From the product description this pan "is dishwasher safe and oven safe to 350 Degree F."
Oven safe up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
#T-fal_A91082

QUESTION: THE PICTURE OF THIS ITEM SHOWS THAT THE GLASS LID HAS A VENTING HOLE. I NEED A PAN IN THIS PRICE RANGE WITHOUT COVER VENTING HOLE. RECOMMENDATIONS?
Sorry Paul, but I do not have any without the vent holes. I'm not sure why you do not want the vent's, but it sure does keep things from boiling over !
I don't know except that I bought this because of the vent hole so it will not boil over.I must say I compared this to many at a very LARGE price difference and the quality is superb! I am very satisfied and would recomend to anyone! Good Luck!
I don't think that the vent in the lid really matters much as its very small. just so you know, its heavy and alloy deeper than the picture shows. you can use it to make all sorts of things. I especially like to make a big batch of wimpies it it. I think you would be very happy with it. its made really well too.i especially like the extra handle. hope this helps.
#Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: WHAT REALLY IS THE COLOR OF THIS ITEM? IT SAYS BLACK ON THE TITLE BUT ON THE DESCRIPTION IT SAYS GREY.
It's black to me but some may say it's really really dark gray
It's black!! I think you were smart to ask, thanks for the advice for the next time it happens to me!!!
Black with silver base on out side.

QUESTION: I HAVE A CERAMIC TOP STOVE AND I'VE HEARD THAT THE PAN OR POT HAS TO FIT THE BURNER TO HEAT AND COOK EVEN. HOW TRUE IS THIS?
Not true at all, not for me at least. This is my husband's FAVORITE pan and he loves to cook with it.
If your ceramic stove top is induction (using magnetic fields) than this T-fal pan will not work, as the aluminum will not conduct the electrical field without a special add-on. However, if your ceramic stove uses radiant heat (electric coils or gas burners) than yes, this T-fal pan will work just fine, no matter how large the burners are.
I have a gas stove the pot hangs over a little but the pan gets all the heat and cooks everything really good. You just have to move your stuff around..
I have an electric stove and do not seem to have this problem. Both my wife and I love this pan as it heats everything we put in it evenly. I hope this was helpful.
#T-fal_A91082_Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: CAN IT BE USED ON INDUCTION COOKTOP?
I understand that a magnet will NOT stick to the bottom of this pan. If that is correct, then this pan will NOT work on an induction cooktop.
I assume so. I've only used it on electric coils, but I don't have any idea of what it's range of capacity is.
I dunno.
#T-fal_A91082

QUESTION: WHAT ABOUT THE INTERIOR... IS IT TEFLON? THE KIND THAT EVENTUALLY PEELS?
I think so,but I have had mine almost a year and no problems. I bought 2 and use them alot. I don't put my cookware in the dishwasher because the clean up easily, and they take up too much room. For the price you can't go wrong. They have a nice depth so they are great for frying chicken.
Yes, it is Teflon. If you use metal spoons to stir food, it will eventually gets scratched.
I think it is teflon, but the one I had before was about 12 years old before it began peeling. And that was using high heat and putting it in the dishwasher which I recently learned are no no's for teflon. So I think I got my money's worth. That's why I bought the same one again. Hope that helps.
I've used mine over a dozen times since I bought it and I have had no problems with it at all. And it cleans up really easy also.
#Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: DOES THIS WORK ON A INDUCTION STOVE TOP?
Induction heating requires iron or steel in the bottom. Has nothing to do with flatness! If the pan gets warped probably from high heat with nothing in it.
Nope, because the bottom is too round and wobbly and it won't make contact with the stove to heat evenly.
#T-fal_A91082_Review

QUESTION: ABOUT HOW MANY EGGS CAN BE SCRAMBLED AT ONE TIME IN THIS PAN? MORE THAN A COUPLE OF DOZEN?
Honestly, I've never tried cooking that many eggs at once. I did cook 2.5 lbs of ground beef in it for tacos all at once, no problem. I probably could have added another pound of beef w/o much trouble though. The volume of food would be comparable to 2 dzn eggs, I'd think.
I would think so....pretty deep pan Nice pan for the $$$
you can scrambled a dozen eggs or two dozen .
Well, I would not cook such a quantity of eggs in a single time, because we are 2 at home. I can give you the example of what I've just cooked in it. I could put in 1 box penne, 2 cans of chicken, 1 and a half 32oz. Tomato sauce can, and 4 boiled eggs and still had room for more ingredients. Does it help? So, I guess the answer is yes, you can cook 2 dozen scrambled eggs in it.
#T-fal_A91082_Specialty_Nonstick_Dishwasher

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE LENGTH FROM THE HANDLES? I WANT TO MAKE SURE IT'LL FIT IN MY CABINET...
it is 22.5 inches which includes the long and short handles. The measurement for the pot includes only the long handle is 20 inches. I hope this information can help.
I don't know I don't have a measuring tape.
#T-fal_A91082

QUESTION: HEY GUYS IS THIS PAN WORTH BUYING? IS IT REALLY NON STICK I DO NORMAL HOME COOKING AN I LOVE TO FRY CHICKEN,
It is really non stick and I still love mine!
Yes, one of my favorite. Fryed chicken. I also do smother steak and gravy also. It is worth every penny.. Sherry
It's nonstick but if you plan on frying chicken, I'd suggest a cast iron skillet, as this T-fal pan is aluminum-- and it cannot reach the high temperatures necessary.
It is absolutely non-stick. Just don't use it on the highest heat setting unless you have a lot of food in it. It doesn't need to be on high to get perfectly browned chicken or anything else. I love this pan. It transfers heat very well and the surface is fabulous and so easy to clean.
Yes, I've had it since Jan 2013 and use it almost every day. Nonstick finish is still in perfect shape.
